Description
This project-oriented course focuses on digital fabrication and prototyping for emerging media. Students explore 3D design tools and techniques for computer-controlled fabrication such as CNC machining, laser cutting, and 3D printing. Experimenting with a variety of prototyping processes, students learn to actualize their designs through multiple methodologies. For hybrid and online sections, minimum technology requirements are a working camera and microphone. Students are to switch both on at the instructor’s request.
