The bachelor of technology in Computer Systems at City Tech directly addresses the evolving needs of the information technology (IT) industry. By integrating theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience and industry exposure, the program ensures that graduates are well-prepared for diverse career opportunities in IT. A required internship component further enhances students' applied skills and industry readiness.

Several courses are available in hybrid and fully online formats, allowing students to balance their studies with professional and personal commitments.

Learning Outcomes

Graduates of the program demonstrate:

Discipline-Specific Learning Outcomes In addition to the general outcomes, BTech students demonstrate knowledge and hands-on competence in:

  • Analyzing, designing, and implementing hardware and software computer systems.

  • Applying project management techniques to computer systems development and implementation.

  • Demonstrating advanced proficiency in at least one computing area, such as software development, databases, IT operations, networking, and security.

  • Understanding how businesses leverage information systems for operational success.
