Description

Since its inception in 1947, the Department of Hospitality Management has created an innovative learning environment that shapes leaders for a dynamic hospitality industry and an ever-changing world. Our alumni network spans the breath of the hospitality industry in New York City and around the world, with affiliations in hotels, fine dining, food service, tourism, airlines, and more.

Students can earn an associate in applied science (AAS) and/or a bachelor of technology (BTech) with areas of focus that include food and beverage management, culinary arts, pastry arts, tourism, and lodging operations.

Classes are held in five well-equipped laboratories and a demonstration amphitheater offering opportunities for students to learn industry standards in a hands-on environment. Through our co-curricular activities, led by our esteemed faculty members, students have additional opportunities to hone their professional skills and knowledge outside the classroom.

With our partners and advisory council members, we continue to serve the needs of the hospitality and tourism industry, graduating students who can identify and demonstrate skills relevant to the broad operational areas of hospitality management and tourism while also exhibiting the analytical and social skills essential for success in the global workplace. We utilize the dynamics of collaboration in diverse settings, celebrating that we are among the most diverse colleges of technology in the country.

You are invited to review the clubs we offer, read about our dedicated faculty and staff, and to check out some recent news about the program.
